Your Story Isn't Defined By The Page You Are On
I remember the anger transforming into rage, the sadness into depression until I lost it all and had no choice but to start over. As a brain injury survivor I know what it feels like to be stuck in that place where life feels out of reach and every day feels like a fight you didn’t sign up for.
But through that pain I discovered something powerful. My sensitivity to emotions, something that once felt like a curse, became one of my greatest strengths. It gave me the ability to truly connect with others, to feel their struggles, and to meet them where they are with empathy and understanding.
Coaching isn’t just something I do, it’s personal, it is my second chance. I’ve become obsessed with understanding the brain, how it heals and how we can take our pain and turn it into purpose. I coach from every angle because I’m not just a survivor, I’ve also spent time volunteering at inpatient rehab centers, working with the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina, sitting with other survivors and caregivers in their darkest moments and collecting every resource I could find to make this journey just a little easier for the next person. My goal is to help you see that life after a brain injury isn’t over, it’s different, but with the right support, it can become powerful, meaningful, and yours to reclaim.
